Employment Skills Scheme

Say Yes UK offers short-term courses focusing on employment skills, which can lead into the Breakthrough Apprenticeship scheme.

The Employment Skills Scheme can be aimed at ‘hard to reach’ young people, such as those who are NEETS (Not in Employment, Education or Training) or homeless teenagers, and those who have little motivation or aspiration to go into employment.

This scheme can be tailored to meet the needs of the young people but would typically include workshops such as how to prepare for an interview, self promotion, communication skills and preparing a CV or personal statement; preparing them to get back into education or into work.

For those young people completing this project there is an opportunity to be awarded the Employability Qualification from ASDAN
